THE MET + CENTRAL PARK NYC ENGAGEMENT

Have you seen Ocean’s 8 starring basically every female celebrity that is currently living? It’s a delightfully fun movie, but the entire reason to watch it is for the scenes filmed in the Met. The room you see above with the reflection pool is basically a main character in the movie. My singular life goal is to attend the Met Gala, so photographing a gorgeous couple dressed for a Gala in the room where it happens (cue Hamilton soundtrack) was basically the next best thing! Our bride-to-be Gabriella is a huge art lover, so we had an amazing time exploring the museum together - so much so that the photos seemed like the icing on the cake, with the real treat being the artwork. After our museum adventure and a quick outfit change, we wandered through Central Park together at sunset. Gabi has a natural eye for beauty so we both gravitated towards the fabulous architecture, doorways, arches, and boundless nature that Central Park has to offer. Anup and Chris were a little too focused on their in-depth conversations to notice the architecture, but I think they really enjoyed being along for the ride as we led the charge through Central Park! Anup and Gabi, we cannot wait for the wedding - you two are absolute PERFECTION!!!

I know I should let you pretend it was ACTUALLY this empty outside the MET, but anyone who has ever been to NYC knows that’s not the case. This lack of crowds is brought to you by Photoshop! ;)
