Ever since we moved to the Somerville area over 10 years ago, I’ve been obsessed with the Historical Somerset County Courthouse. The pale marble, grand staircase, ornate columns, and hidden archways make this a photographer’s dream location. Plus, it’s nestled in the heart of our favorite town with the best restaurants and cutest main street with pedestrian-only areas. This courthouse always turns me into a middle-aged dad…“boy would you look at that” and “gee, they sure don’t make ‘em like they used to” often flow from my mouth without a thought. So it’s no wonder Nina and Matt chose this location to celebrate their union. These two opted for an intimate courthouse elopement followed by a delicious dinner at Wolfgang’s with their family. I’m glad they were able to warm up with a nice steak dinner after because this happened to be one of the coldest and windiest days of the year! You’d never know it though because Nina and Matt are CHAMPIONS!! Congrats you guys! It was so wonderful to capture these beautiful memories on your perfect day! <3
