WEST VILLAGE ENGAGEMENT: MICAH + MARCY
When somehow a stranger shouting "Jerk! You're ruining their photo and they just got engaged!" turns into a real life proposal, I wish I could have been a fly on the wall! Micah and Marcy were at Top of the Rock this past April when Micah decided he'd hold off on proposing for a better time...it was just too darn crowded! They even made it all the way back down to the bottom when they remembered they had reserved a time to have their photo taken at the top. So up they went again, and they were mid-photoshoot when someone walked right in front of the camera. A stranger scolded the man (see above), to which Marcy replied "no we didn't..." and Micah seized the moment. "Actually...that's not a bad idea," he said as he got down on one knee. It took her completely by surprise and they already had the photographer there to capture the moment! I wish it was me just so I could have seen the whole thing unfold! :) To celebrate their engagement, we had a nice adventure through the West Village and played a fun game of "dodge the rain clouds" for the first 30 minutes haha!
Thankfully the sun came out towards the end of our session - hooray!!! Congrats again Micah and Marcy! I can't wait for your wedding next year at Red Maple Vineyard! :)
