NYC PHOTOGRAPHER'S CHRISTIAN SMALL GROUP
In honor of our small group’s recent mention on Jasmine Star’s blog, I thought I would share some more information for those of you who are interested in attending! You can also check out my first blog post about the group here. :)
1. Community
It’s an AWESOME-FANTASTIC-OUTOFTHISWORLD type of group. Like, really really awesome.
2. We are focused on spiritual growth in God.
You totally don’t have to have all of your spiritual beliefs figured out to come, but you should know that we talk about the Bible, what it means to be Christian and we spend time praying for each other.
3. It's for photographers
We spend a lot of time relating to our similar business struggles, so at this time we think the meetings are most beneficial if you are a photographer (can be any type: weddings, portraits, children, family, etc!).
4. Topics you can relate to
At each meeting we focus on one topic while sharing ways to have a better relationship with God, our communities, and each other. Some upcoming topics include:
- Trusting God in our Businesses
- Tithes & Finances: What does the Bible say?
- Marriage: Why Hollywood has it all wrong!
- Priorities: Seeing the Big Picture
- The Power of Your Words
- Strengths, Gifts from God, & Value in Work
We laugh, we cry, we grow spiritually, we learn from each other, and we inspire one another. I leave each week feeling wiser and happier! If you are interested in attending, please send me an email (cassi@cassiclaire.com) and I will make sure our wonderful group leader Caroline keeps you posted on upcoming meetings. We meet Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. at various cute NYC locations, but we need to make reservations in advance so give us a heads up if you are interested in coming!
